Now you can become a fan of CrossFit 206 on Facebook by clicking the Facebook box on the left side of the home page. Would you want to see CF 206 blog entries on that page? Is it easier to read them there? I initially used the RSS feed to push all the blog entries onto the page (into the page’s Notes, which then show up on its Wall)–it’s an all or nothing proposition–but I didn’t really like the way it looked. Plyo box (box jumps) fabrication in progress

Tom has been in the basement working so carefully on cutting all the angles so that everything fits together. I’m petrified of power saws of all kinds, so I’m especially grateful and proud of him. He’s making two 20-inch boxes and two 12-inch boxes. They’re made of 3/4-inch birch plywood, held together by both wood glue and 1.25-inch drywall screws. Can’t wait to jump on them!

No reason to eat grain

I think this is my all-time favorite Mark Sisson post: Why grains are unhealthy. If you talk to a doctor or a nutritionist who wants you to eat grain, ask them what you can get there that you can’t get from whole foods like meat, vegetables, fruit, and nuts. There isn’t anything.
