Breakthrough at CrossFit 206

Joe did his first pistol today. Following the coaching of Franz Snideman, RKC, we start learning pistols from the ground up. Joe squatted low with his feet and knees pressed together and shot one foot out, then pulled it back in. He did this several times without a kettlebell, holding onto a rack as a support, and then with lots of determination he succeeded using a KB as a counterweight. Next step: get really solid at shooting out one foot at a time and pulling it back in; then doing that and standing up on one leg; then descending and coming back up. With Joe's determination and excellent body awareness I think this will happen soon.
