Want to try out for the CrossFit Games?

The earliest round of the CrossFit Games starts this week as an open competition. Competitors do each week’s workout and either submit a video or have a registered affiliate (like us) validate your workout results. There will be one workout a week for six weeks. The first workout will be announced tomorrow, March 15. If you want to compete, read the rules here and then register yourself as an individual.

You can perform the workouts at CrossFit 206 and have us validate your result. Hours for this will be on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Whether or not we can offer this service each week will depend on what the workout is for each week–we won’t be able to judge something we don’t have the equipment for.

If you want to perform your CrossFit Games Open workout at CrossFit 206:

1) Read all the competition details, starting here. Make sure you read the rules linked above and register as an athlete. Check here each Tuesday to find out that week’s workout.
2) Contact tom@crossfit206.com to coordinate a time on the Saturday or Sunday that week.
3) CrossFit 206 members have first priority and, with limited availability, we reserve the right to offer this service only to our members if demand is high.
4) The fee is $15 cash or check only.
5) You’ll be responsible to understand the requirements for each workout, to show up early and to get yourself warmed up. We won’t be coaching you; we’ll be timing, refereeing, and validating your performance.
6) Tom will go over the workout requirements with you. His judgment of any reps or anything else in the workout will be final.
